The US guided missile Destroyer “Oscar Austin” moored up at Varna's port in Bulgaria, Wednesday, as a part of NATO's operations in the region.
The 155-metre ship entered the Black Sea on May 5th to conduct maritime security operations. The ship can carry tomahawk missiles, maritime artillery and other military equipment as well as undertake humanitarian missions.
SOT, Cmdr. Janice Smith, commander of USS Oscar Austin (English): "Oscar Austin is a destroyer. We are qualified and certified in a number of warfare areas, air warfare, service warfare, and a submarine warfare. We do meal introduction and out here in the Black sea he have just being doing routine operations. We function across full mission set while we are here."

We have guns, we have missiles, we have torpedoes, we have helicopters, which is also a part of our weapon systems."
